I actually think the conservative agenda got as far as it did because the party leaders assumed certain segments of the population would be complacent and not vote. But some of these issues like abortion and gay rights and all that have rattled some cages out here, so we'll see. The less people vote, the better off the conservatives are since the majority opinion is anti-gun/pro-choice.
