Hi Christopher, I haven't been following the thread entirely lately, so I am not sure what has caused the recent negative posts toward you. However, some things came to mind as I attempted to put myself in your shoes on the receiving end.

The words we use can become a bridge to beginning relationships, by inviting people to change their feelings, their ideas, and their behavior, toward themselves and toward us. Or they can open canyons of distrust and divisiveness. Often rudeness is the insecure person's imitation of power. Maslow said. "he that is good with a hammer tends to see everything as a nail". These behaviors can sometimes produce the result we would like, often we fail to realize we have other options. We settle into the role of bullying or being bullyied rather than seeking other alternatives.

Some people may admire a persons ability to craft a spinning web of negative, potentially hurtful words. Believing that it is some sort of difficult clever art form. What I believe is more difficult is to look for ways to communicate where we build trust and openness, where we can un-mask ourselves and truly feel free.

Just some musings....

By the way, how did your court case go the other day. Did you get the verdict you wanted?
