I didn't know it was Churchill who first came up with that one. He wasn't serious about reforming the language that way, was he? P****d off means angry. I think I like the British definition better.

I have always respected the way you are able to carry on a discussion in a gentlemanly manner and your ability to keep your cool under more tense conditions than I am able to do. The " common language" thing was a quip made in a speech by Gen. George S Patton and, I think he said it was a quote but I don't know who originated it...TD
