MNI, in American English, p*ss*d off means that a person is very angry. For example, truedog is so p*ss*d off at Gus that he doesn't want to have anything to do with him any more. And I would say, rightly so. I realize that there are misunderstandings because of the language difference. But some of the terribly insulting remarks Gus has made to truedog and other people, come across loud and clear. Gus expresses these insults in such a blatant manner that there is no doubt about his intent. And the fact that he has made no attempt to apologize, or rectify the situation in any way, only proves that we are right in our interpretation of these insulting remarks. C Kahn

MNI, Charles has not yet been the subject of Gus' wrath. I do give Charles credit for trying to understand Gus with an open mind. But, the rest of us have also tried to understand Gus with an open mind, only to end up being blatantly insulted. Also, Charles has been away for a while, so he may not be fully aware of the situation that's going on here. C Kahn
