Next up: ASKJ Askjeeves, how hurtin can you get? The Queen of the internet Mary Meeker writes that this pig will loose $31 M this year, $20 M in 2000 and "we look for the Company to break even in 2002". Well sheet, I thought that the market was looking for profitable internet companies. This thing's gonna burn $50+ M before any likelyhood of breaking even and it's revenue model is advertising?!! I mean they only raised $42 M, say $38.6 M after fees? Thus they burn all of their IPO cash and then some.
