I agree that stocks of legal consultants sound like good "story stocks" post-Y2K. However, if Y2K sends the market into the dumper, holding any equities through 31 December 1999 might lose lots of money. The exception might be mining companies like Newmont, Barrick, Pan American Silver, et al.
