Multex.com Announces Agreement with Go2NetTo Be the Exclusive Provider of Earnings Estimates and Broker Researchfor Silicon Investor

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 1999--Multex.com MLTX announced a new three-year agreement today to become the exclusive provider of earnings estimates and commingled broker research on Go2Net's GNET Silicon Investor , the Web's premier financial discussion and information site.
Under the agreement, Multex.com will create a customized, co-branded version of the Multex Investor Network , one of the fastest-growing personal finance sites on the Web. Through this co-branded offering, Silicon Investor's users will be able to access more than 300,000 free and premium investment research reports from more than 250 global research providers. Silicon Investor's users will also be able to access Multex.com's original earnings estimates and analyst consensus recommendations directly on the Silicon Investor site.
