Ice no other news besides the Skytel pager PR that I can see. Looks like a technical rally to me. Big cap internets moving higher. Candles signaled EBAY reversal last week. Broke minor downtrend resistance at about 99. Cruised through psychological 100 level. No significant overhead resistance until about 135. Decent volume indicates real buying, not just a short-covering rally. Increasing likelihood Fed will reaffirm a neutral bias on the 24th, and market pricing only one more 25 bps rate hike this year. And for anecdotal evidence, when the longs on this thread are quietly licking their wounds from $160, and shorts are stridently calling for $50 and below, well that's a pretty good contrary indicator. If making money trading were that easy we'd all be on a beach in the Caymans. Right? <vbg>. I'll take my long profits at $125. Not that I expect EBAY to head straight up. I'd like to see a positive retest of the $100 level sometime this week.

P.S. A true EBAY story. Saturday, my son buys a computer game at the local thrift store for $2. No manual. The game won't install without a code word from the manual. So I register on EBAY and bid for the same game online, will pay $3 plus shipping. Big deal the game's $49.95 in the store. And before you know it, now I'm registered, so I bid on a programming book and some database software. It's definitely sticky. Thinking now about selling some old Stones vinyl I no longer play, but seems in demand on EBAY. Not that I need the money, but I do need the shelf space, and I'd like to see Tattoo You and others go to a good home!!!
