Considerations: Cost of producing, distribution.
Cost to the consumer. <$20
People are lazy..very lazy.
It's a great idea but perhaps a little ahead of it's time.
I would buy it as a loyal DWA subscriber but if you're planning on making money on it I would question whether or not it is marketable to the masses. How many must be sold to break even? That is the first thing to determine.
Now if it came with a DWA subscription...1/2 of the people would use it. Maybe half.
What if it were available as a supplement with 'The Book' for an extra amount? Burke offers a workbook for a charge.

Just some initial thoughts...I'll be pulling for you either way.

Hi Jan: Yes I would love to see a CD-ROM adjunctive learning tool with you, Tammy and Tom presenting the same lessons on practical use of PandF charts that you post. My wife is now looking at the PandF charts I keep on my stock portfolio, and even with a cursory look, she can see the trend. I think for beginners a visual approach would be great. Consider creating an interactive tool to accompany the lessons; something that would allow one to build a chart from scratch and keep it up each day.(with capability to export data from the site to begin the charting process) This would help overcome the inertia inherent with attempt to learn a new system.
I hope this note finds you in good health.
Regards, and congrats on your new role with DWA
James

I have said to TD on a number of occasions that DWA should release a VHS version of his seminar. When you combine more than one learning device (in this case reading and visual) the comprehension ALWAYS GOES UP! I think you would find buyers from Individual investors to Brokers to Brokerages. It's a slam dunk.

I'm generally interested in P&F but don't know much about it. A CD would of course be interesting and I would consider purchasing it if it were under say, $35. But first, excuse my ignorance, but what is THE BOOK?

As a new subscriber to DWA web site, and a lurker here, I am definitely in favor of all the educational help you can come up with. A CD would be a great help.
