Please stop posting the same thing over and over. Even though we're rooting for the same team, hype always makes me nervous. Also, I don't mind it when analysts tell the public something positive that I already know (from here, for instance); not everyone knows these facts yet.

Hong Kong Accepting Proposals for Digital Satellite Broadcast Services
8/16/99 Hong Kong?s telecommunications regulation agency is calling for applicants to provide satellite broadcast services for the territory. Proposals to the OFTA (Office of Telecommunications Authority) are due October 15.

Applicants will have to provide broadcasting services for up to 40 channels as well as build and operate an earth station to provide tracking and control.

Hong Kong has reserved space in the BSS (broadcasting satellite service) satellite band, using higher ku-band frequencies and target the city using antennas around 6-9 inches in size.
