If what you are saying is true, then isn't this a big strategic change? I thought Excite@Home wanted to develop content and community to compete with AOL.

Also (question 2), do you think AOL is in on this marketing promotion? I think ATHM is just giving customers cash to offset their AOL bill. It's like they are admitting AOL is UNIQUE and too powerful a brand to fight. This is capitulation. They are giving AOL free bandwidth.
Or am I missing something?
