Interesting what you suggested for our home PC. AOL/JAVA on thin client with a MAJC license.
Do you think the price for this type of machine will fit into the average homeowner's budget?

Well, you probably don't need to own a home to have one.<g>

It would be cheaper than a PC because it's simpler, cheaper chip, no local storage (besides caching I would imagine). All in all more akin to a telephone than a PC.

If you have a 'home PC' which your husband uses for his graphics work (and is a Linux hobbyist), I'd guess that's what you'll continue to use.

You'll probably be among the first to be offered one though, being an AOL subscriber (maybe within the year?). It'll be interesting to see if ISPs in general start becoming client hardware vendors.
