Wayne, It is pretty simple. I set a limit per race and a limit for the day. If I get 100% ahead of the daily limit, I allow myself to up the per race limit to one and a half.

However, the key to my game is that I bet a little to make a lot. That means mostly exotics and a "shot" has to be in them or I don't play it for the per race limit.

I have to modify this somewhat if I take either my girlfriend or my Mother with me, but as they usually won't bet more than $4 a race, I treat those as gimmes. And as both say, I can have all my fancy handicapping and money mgt., but I have to bet Pat Day, or, in Calif., Russell Baze, with them. <g>
