I have a very solid vers of LINUX which I downloaded 2 years ago from one of the other open architecture providers. The Red Hat vers is good too, but I haven't been able to identify what the advantage is to have it. Don't know the API features of Red Hat vers. yet.

I don't think a shrink- wrapped strategy will work. They will license to companies like IBM and DELL to bundle the OS with hardware. Maybe then it's worth $10/copy. If you could replace half the WIN copies in existence, say that's at least 100M copies. So $1B in revs. is possible. Before I go further with this imaginative projection I need some more discussion on this from this thread.
