SRU.AL - Starfield Resources - Round two has begun! The share price was up 28% today to $1.05. They are currently drilling deep for the motherlode (Round one found the mineralisation they expected - copper, nickel, cobalt, platinum and palladium) and early indications are that they are meeting or exceeding expectations. This time they are going for tonnage (large widths) and higher grades. The Canadian Society of Geologists had a team on site this past weekend and Falconbridge will have a team on site this week. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) will feature Starfield in it's Nunavit special that airs in about two weeks.

Round One took the share price to $2.34 from about .45. Round Two could easily exceed the previous high IMO. This is the biggest mining play in Canada at this time. Do your own DD as I own a fair chunk of this company and am biased:

SRU - VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 16, 1999--

Starfield Resources Inc. ("Starfield") commenced the summer drilling
program at the Ferguson Lake, Nunavut, Canada property on August 12,
1999.

The first hole (#99-06) of the current program was completed
August 15th and intersected the targeted anomaly from a depth of 86
meters to a depth of 96 meters for a total interval of 10 meters. Hole
#99-06 is located 1.5 kilometers east of Holes 99-01 and 99-05 which
Starfield completed during the Spring, 1999 program.
Drill holes #99-01 and #99-05 (on the same section) were situated
on the same geophysical and geological target as is currently being
tested. Starfield's 4000 meter drill program is continuing with Hole
#99-07 underway.
