I have also been nibbling at WMI. The stock has been hammered with bad news almost a daily basis. Everyone that wanted out should be out by now. I like the recovery plan of selling international assets. They can pay down some debt and possibly buy back some shares. All these downgrades will be upgrades a couple of quarters from now...if their plan works. At this price it is worth the risk to me. But I can appreciate why long term holders would be unhappy.

WMI will always have business. If they sell there oversea's operations, the balance sheet will be looking much better. I think this is a great stock for an IRA account, etc

FWIW,

There is a rebroadcast of an analyst's interview at

vcall.com

He was reasonably intelligent ... it is worth a few minutes for some background.
