In the symbol window enter ES9U. That is the symbol for the E-Mini, which closely approximates the SP9U, but is real time.

Aloha,
Kevin

I see others beat me to it but one thing to add is the symbol will have to be changed when the current contract expires. It is actually a good idea to start tracking the next contract a couple weeks early since most people start rolling over to the next month around then.

The base symbol is SP with the 9 denoting 1999. Next year it will be SP0 etc. Also the contracts run as follows.
H = March
M = June
U = Sept
Z = Dec

Note also if you are not a subscriber, futures are delayed quotes but you can compute the premium difference and watch the SPX.X which will closely mirror the futures. A bit harder since you have to watch the premium value inthe upper right hand side but it can be done and over time you get used to it.

I tried to catch this falling knife here but missed. Still on the sidelines at this time. I will not chase this since they could tank it on the close or bounce it. It is a coin toss so I will most likely remain flat till CPI is released. If I can get a good fill I may put on a straddle.

Good Luck,

Lee
