That was a DJ news story (pay service) that didn't make it directly to the free sites. I saw it at my broker's office that day as well -- this ain't some wacky rumor we cooked up: (Thursday:) Goldman Sachs is buying thousands of September 70 puts in Micron Technology Inc., a trader said. With the stock down 3 1/2 at 65 1/16, the September 70 puts are up 1 5/8 at 8 1/8 on Chicago Board Options Exchange volume of 2,666 contracts, compared with open interest of 240 contracts. At the Pacific Exchange, the puts were up 2 5/8 at 8 7/8 on volume of 2,651 contracts. techstocks.com Gotta start going straight to the source first for Micron stuff, old sport. :-)
