Two evils do not make a right. As I mentioned earlier, much of the trouble in this country today is from the legacy of the faulty decision not to apply the rights outlined in the founding documents to ALL the peoples of America, including the, then, misnamed Indians.

Revealing turn of phrase. The way I look at it, the authority Terrence is discussing belongs to the states, it doesn't need to be "devolved." The federal government has usurped it. I believe the founders would agree with Terrence.
