I agree with you Leroyt. It might be cumbersome having a seperate modem; at the same time I do not want to throw away my MB because the modem goes bad nor throw my on board modem because I want to upgrade my CPU.

i'm not saying there wont be a market... there is still a market for external analog. however the overall trend is programmable DSP solutions integrated with the MB. cost cutting and cheap PC are what is fueling the industry now, and will likely be the driver for broadband.

my only concern is what if the modem i have in my computer doesnt work with what they have at the CO<G>.
