The company actually raised $1,000,000(2,000,000 units @$0.50 per unit). The link for this press release is:

Each unit consists of one share plus one two-year share-purchase warrant,exercisable at US$0.75 in the first year,and US$0.90 in the second year.
I hear that another financing is in the works and an acquisition should be announced shortly.The next few days will be exciting IMHO.
