Hi John, thanks for the thoughts on earnings. I have fallen into the analyst guess Dell earnings best camp after three quarters of Niles and Kumar, so I am sticking with .17/share.

On Pricing, it looks like institutions are taking every opportunity to lighten up on Dell. To me that means that additional price pressure from Dell insider sales that occur right after earnings announcement will push the stock back to 40 as the average for the rest of August (I hope I am wrong). The good part of this line of thinking is that there should not be much left of institutional selling to lower prices in October.

Dell has been fighting valuation methods, pessimistic growth estimates, and "the sky is falling soon" outlooks for the last 6 months of this year. Our day will come and Dell's price will jump unpredictably, hurting unsuspecting shorts, but even more those longs that gave up right before "dawn."

The only confidence I have is Dell (what an incredible company) will continue its unprecedented success and that its stock price appreciation over time will warrant the wait.
Cheers,
Mike
