I think that MOT is embarrassing themselves by calling attention to their lack of engineering acumen. They have missed the boat on every major technological advancement known to man in the past ten years. Their switching technology is a joke, they make computer chips for Apple, they blew $5 billion on Iridium, & they ignored the transition from analog to digital in the US (except for iDEN). It wasn't too long ago that I remember them boasting about their expansion of paging systems in China. I used to think that ERICY was the European equivalent of MOT. I guess that I was wrong - MOT is the American equivalent of ERICY. They have adopted plagarism & lawsuits as their only short term justifications for poor management and a decade of complete tunnel vision.
