Yes, he is the Rock Me Amadeus dude, but he also recorded Der Kommissar before 'After the Fire' came out with the English version....right?? :o)

nevermind—answer posted earlier. <eom> [edit;] But anyway, one band covered The Beatle's "Dear Prudence". One band covered Jimi Hendrix' "Foxy Lady". Both bands were quite big in the '80s' "New Wave" era. One guitar player played on both tracks.
