Paul, i wonder why they go to so much trouble...no-one with a little bit of common sense believes this 'no inflation' garbage anyway. except Wall Street that is, but then Wall Street has levitated away from reality a long time ago. as it were i agree that the manipulation is not overt, but rather grounded in what type of data is deemed worthy of inclusion and with what weighting. of course this has absolutely nothing to do with the actual cost of living. but then who cares? the stock market is making everyone rich anyway...
