Did I hear CNBC correctly-- that Eckhodt Fifah had a 9.8 BILLION severance package-- that's with a B, folks? That is 25% of CPQ market cap!

CNBC has made this same announcement several times today.

If true, this is positively staggering. Give some bozo 25% of the company? Hoooweee.

Just one of the joys of the New SI, Dorine <g>. I just stopped by to wish you and all of the other dell longs a great earnings report tomorrow. Dell is one of the finest companies in America, and Michael is a Super Star who is far from completing his ascent. If there's any way to surprise the street tomorrow, Dell will pull it off.
