Re: with that i am off your case.

Have a great couple of days! We all have to keep each other from getting too enthralled by our positons. I'm holding puts, you're long, if we don't understand the thinking of others in the market, we can't make good decisions.

I do wish there were more exploration of what-is-Intel-gonna-do on this thread. That's the thing I'm worrying about - that could cream my position! Or maybe it will save my position :-)

Regards,

Dan

Uncle,

with that i am off your case.
i am in total agreement with you there. rambus is an improvement but not a significant one in word processing.

but, i have a feeling what is considered a standard app is about to change. have you ever heard of bandwidth intensive apps?

I disagree with you on word processing. The addition of voice recognition to word processing will benefit from the higher bandwidth of Rambus.

finally a reminder, in 14 days you get what you asked for at the idf in palm springs. are you sure you are ready for the answer?

I told Dan the same thing a week ago. Intel's policy is not to comment on products which have not been officially announced. Since the 820 chipset has not been announced, Intel has not not released any test results yet. What part of this statement Dan doesn't understand is beyond me. If he doesn't like the policy I suggest he complain to Intel whose policy it is, not us.

Like you and Tench, I am done with him. I have much better things to do with my time.

Regards,

Jim
