Re : questions on Phone.com Inc. (PHCM) and Qualcomm. I got a copy of the Phone.com IPO prospectus from H&Q. If anyone else wants to get one -- here is H&Q's address : Hambrecht & Quist 1 Bush St. San Francisco CA 94104 Phone.com now (after the IPO) has 30.5 million shares outstanding. (Not sure what happened with 0.6 million share over-allotment option granted to underwriters). Qualcomm is NOT listed in the list of 5% or greater shareholders of Phone.com. There is (also) (already) (in addition to the 30.5 million shares) about 9.4 million shares worth of options. Also, there are 5 different series of cv. pfd. stock. There's also some other stuff. Bottom line -- I do not think QCOM now owns a huge piece of PHCM. Jon.
