Come off it, Forthright, the Amex is much more influential than you make out. Just because the flavor of 1998 and 1999 was Internet, it does not mean that the Amex is down and out. The Amex, traditionally, has been the store house of the energy stocks and has been partially eclipsed recently. That does not mean that it is no longer influential.

I believe that Amex stocks from today until 2 years hence, may well outperform both the NYSE and the NASDAQ.(And that would include our friend GTR if it chooses this exchange!).
