heinz blasnik: Favors analysis is based on the assumption that the '98 break was a full-fledged bear market and that a new bull market started at the october low.

Well, that is absurd...

heinz:

"assumption that the '98 break was a full-fledged bear market and that a new bull market started at the october low. he then goes on to extrapolate the average duration and size of a bull market cycle beginning from that low"

Did he tell you the average, shortest, and longest duration of a bear market cycle?

"he has caught every major turn in the market so far this year"

I'm sorry heinz, but I strongly disagree with that statement. I think his silly (often fully contrarion) calls on CNBC every Friday were likely responsible for his mysterical disappearance from that ex-regular spot on Fridays.

IMO, the guy is exactly Acampora.

heinz blasnik: Also...I don't follow Favors, but several of his updates were posted after the Oct 98 bottom....

They were all over the place and to me it seemed he missed most of the rise. Actually I had trouble making sense out of his updates. What little sense I could make out of them seemed very hedged...

Regards,
LG
