The Basic rumour that drove that last spike was that Phelps was hitting some good holes next door to their property. One of the ones jv'd with JLB.
It was even reeported inthe Northern Miner

They appear to have cooled off - BUT there are now more rumours in other areas of Labrador of Inco hitting some pots and pans over 75+ feet ( 15% + Nickel) - I just dont know where
