Dan:

A couple of words about quality that relate to some posts I saw on the Yahoo board. The quality and quality control associated with GumTech gums is far and away better than the competition. I have tried several of the competitor (A&H) and imitators (Triden advantage). The GUMM coatings are thicker, more even and do not have nearly the number of broken corners as the inferior competitors. Let's hope that consumers and big pharmas shopping for nicotine gum want the same level of quality control that GumTech consistently puts out. Given that they are usually held to rigorous standards, I suspect you are correct that they will.

Also, someone mentioned the new Children's BreathAssure gum product. I tasted some at the Annual Meeting. While in and of itself, I can't say that it justified the airline ticket and an August day in Arizona, I will say it is a damn fine product. It tastes just like bubble gum (a la bazooka) and keeps its flavor for quite awhile (I chewed a piece for 30 minutes). No aftertaste. If it is marketed well by BA, it should be successful, especially if some of the marketing is subtly directed toward parents.
