I dont think buying Q at 20-25 a share two years ago could be construed as a story stock. Qcom was trading at arround 20-40 trailing Pe and was growing earnings at an equal clip.
Thats value in anyones book. I bought Q at 18 times forward PE and it was growing at 25-35% per year. How can yo compare that to G*? Furthermore it was the Ericson and Infastructure problems that held back Q. Those who had good Information new the Ericy situation to be a scam. Even if it wasnt it was priced into the stock. When I held the Q I believed there was very litlle downside risk, and even without Europe or 3G standard was a good rowin investement.
