Yup! The one and the same. But it gets better'n that. Winelander is the Attorney that represented Geller in one or more of those useless lawsuits against Randi and CSICOP. He lost them all. Winelander was also the attorney that represented Eldon Byrd in a case against Randi. The charge was slander and revolved around a slip of the tongue Randi made. When Byrd tried to heckle Randi, The Amazing One mentioned to the crowd that Byrd was "a convicted child molestor". When the case came up, Randi cheerfully admitted that he had indeed slandered Byrd, because while Byrd had _Admitted_ to being a Child Molestor, he had not been _convicted_! An obvious mistake, but never-the-less, it was technically slander. The jury found Randi guilty (they had no choice- Randi admitted saying it.). But, due to the heroic efforts of Winelander, who tried everything possible to cast Randi as Evil Incarnate, the Jury was wise enough to award to Byrd damages of the sum of $0.00! That was not a typo. Damages of $0.00! Nada! Zippity-zero dollars. Yep! RileyG has found himself a sympatico loser for his attorney. I hope for riley's sake, that Winelander will work on spec. As he always loses, he will be cheap! hutch ______________ "A government that robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend upon the support of Paul." --George Bernard Shaw _______ number 5 _________ From: "Ragnar (no, not THE Ragnar)" <rworks@earthlink.net> Subject: Re: Riley G vs. the Wily B web site!
