Here's an update on semiconductor equipment valuations:

The valuations based on 2000 earnings don't look too bad compared to the S&P, but as we all know, there is no guarantee that the S&P will stay up.

In my table of semiconductor equipment valuations, I neglected to note that the earnings forecasts for KLAC and LRCX were for FY 2001. The following link is to a corrected table, with separate columns for FY 2000 and FY 2001.
