thread: youre right - clearly no one, probably not even the people involved in the Berlex suit could guess the result. But what is the reason that Biogen always wins patent suits against Berlex?

BTW, I assume it's an infringement suit in the US? is that right? which means some monstrous $$ are at stake in damages. In any event, the fact that someone settles doesnt say anything either without knowing the terms.

Do you know what patent are? it would be interesting to see. maybe they are not even IFN-B patents, but other patents for production, use, etc, because the basic patents were licensed by biogen, (i thought)

But, on issue of the revoked patent in europe: are there other very important patents on IFN-B that block, or was that it?
PMF: why does it take three years to get something to marker? is it because of regulatory exclusivity?
