IMHO, the answer is that ASPT has decided to go STEALTH in this initial phase of launching the CRM Portal. Let me explain why I think so:

1) ASPTïs prime market for the CRM portal is their installed base. So, they donït need to advertise widely through the media to reach customers. They can save those dollars to improve the bottom line.
2) ASPT wants a high degree of satisfaction on these first customers so that they can be referenced in the future. The first installations will need a lot of hand-holding and technical resources from ASPT. Another reason to go quiet is to get served only what you can eat.ASPT, as any other corporation, has finite resources to tackle so many projects are a given time. Probably/Hopefully they already have too many projects.
3) Product is new and we know that all V1.0 of any software may need fine tuning and debugging. It makes sense to play it safe on V1.0 of a product so critical for their future. We are talking about a mission-critical piece of software for large corporations. Can you imagine if one of those companies is Deutsche Telecom?. This reinforces point 2
4) By going STEALTH you donït wake up too much your enemies and gain valuable time in the experience curve of your new product.

I understand how you feel. It may be unnerving. I also would like to hear more positive news. But, from my past experience in marketing going STEALTH is sometimes the best route to take....

Any other theories are welcomed!

Warm regards

I just read a quote from Wayne Gretzky that I wanted to pass along: "Other players go where the puck is, I go where the puck is going to be."
