Phase one: Make small investment in fly-by-night outfit with homeopathic quack cold-medication. Issue press releases and spread the word among stock touts to pump shares.

Phase two: Sell shares at grossly inflated prices.

I think I understand their business plan perfectly well. Ironically, it's you who doesn't seem to be able to grasp it.

Don't let your ego get in the way of your judgement. This has led to disaster for many small investors that have been suckered into stock frauds. One of the hardest disciplines a novice investor has to learn is how to cut losses or prevent a gain from turning into a loss.
