Q2 was weak, Q4 will be good. stock sells off during seasonally weak periods. sounds seasonal to me. (here's a hint: stock then moves up AHEAD of seasonally strong period).

I guess I am not looking for 'steals', I am looking for stocks that are going to go up. AMZN from $100? looks to me like I can get 40-50% out of it in 6 months. Maybe we go down 15% first but that is where I buy EBAY and then make 60-80% on that one. My portfolio return is what matters, not individual stock performance. You only have to be generally right in this business if you take an averaged approach rather than the gamblers dive. these stocks are plenty volatile if you just don't get too greedy on trying to buy exact lows and selling highs. patience is tremendously valuable in a world of daytrading stock jocks.
