To any and all:

I am staring at Dell Jan 2001 calls at 32 1/2 strike (ZDEAZ) selling for $16 with the common at 41 3/16. I'm not experienced in options so I'm looking for advice.

Doesn't this mean that it pays off if Dell reaches 32.5 + 16 = 48.5 before Jan2001? That is 17 months to grow 18%. Doesn't this seem like a good deal? Better than holding the common? What am I missing?
