Susan,

No offense but I predict regarding ATHM that you are very good at explaining what happened and not so good at what will happen. Can you give us some specifics so we can track your progress?

Thanks,

KB

You have only said you think the shape of the chart shows ATHM is bottoming. There's an old saying in Wall Street, "the chart readers are the ones with the holes in their shoes". Remember what Gecko said about the 20 guys he was paying to read charts? Chart reading by itself is way worse than the coin. If you say, "ATHM is short term bottoming because the FED will do more coupon passes", then you are making a material claim. That has consequences. The charts don't predict the future. At the very best they only hint at the instantaneous state. To know the state you have to analyze every trade. Even then it only tells you what the market is doing intrinsically and that doesn't predict price. Nothing does. That's why you have to hold to benefit and you have to hold something good, because holding avoids all the negative expected return runs associated with not holding. You also have to be lucky.
