I saw an amazing piece on CNBC as I was channel surfing for a few minutes last night. It began by asking "Did you know that the United States was dropping bombs on Iraq every day?"

Well I wouldn't if I only got my information from NB Freaking C!

Near the end of the piece it was said that keeping news about what we're doing to Iraq low key was part of the Administration strategy in order to restrain sympathy towards Iraq. Obviously the lamestream media is cooperating 100% with this strategy since nobody I talk to in the real world has any idea we are in the middle of a hot war in Iraq. ABC, NBC, CBS, most major newspapers are wholly owned subsidiaries of the Washington power elite.

Without an independent press this Democracy is doomed. Has technology in the form of the internet arrived in time to save us? Stay tuned.
