Just heard the first MSPG radio commercial here in Milwaukee yesterday. (could have been a Chicago radio station, I don't recall) Very good commercial with emphasis on excellent service.

Glenn, I will be starting a major short position in Mindspring tomorrow, they have really screwed their corporate users and we will be making a wholesale switch away from them. The policy switch that happened last week is: 1. If dialed in to Mindspring, you can ONLY send email via the Mindspring mail server, but you can still read your company email server. 2. If not dialed into Mindspring (ie on your company LAN), you can NOT send mail through the Mindspring email server. Currently many of our folks have portables that plug into the LAN at work but dial into Mindspring from home. This means that their email program (Outlook) must be reprogrammed each time they go home or return to work. A royal pain that we only tolerated for a few days. We, and I guess many other companies, will be making a wholesale switch from Mindspring to another ISP. This is very sad for us, we have been with Mindspring from the beginning, I think that Brewer himself may have activated our accounts. My contacts with their tech staff were of no help, they said it was "policy" and were not at all concerned about losing our accounts. Goodbye to an old friend.................
