I think Iraq will have a short-term psychological impact on oil futures, but no effect on the physical supply since as you say heinz, their infrastructure is trashed. Their production will take years just to get back to what it once was. They may be a thorn in OPEC's side longer-term because they're poor and desperate to sell, and they have low-cost reserves.
