This is mighty interesting: From CBS MarketWatch: XOMA falls 2 5/8, or 34.4 percent to 5 on news reports that the Food and Drug Administration had asked for more information regarding its experimental drug Neuprex. Peter Davis, the company's CFO, told CBS.MarketWatch.com that the FDA made no such requests. Looks like X is roaring like a mouse in response to Bloomberg's ream job. Meanwhile, everyone is carrying Bloomberg's version of the story, and CNBC is repeating it every hour. No official announcement refuting the (shabby?) coverage is a tacit endorsement, no?
