NDB receives $100 12-month price target from Jim Marks, an analyst at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown . OLB sector gets a boost, cut/paste from CBS Marketwatch:

"We put out a bullish note on the e-brokers this morning," says Jim Marks, an analyst at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown in New York. "We expect Internet volumes to be up to a record this quarter." He says the notion of a summer slowdown in trading might be a myth.

Marks says his new report indicates Internet trading volumes this summer make up about a fifth of all Nasdaq trading volume. On Aug. 5, Marks said the U.S. stock market experienced record Internet-stock volume, in part because of the rush of new IPOs. That August day saw 339 million Web shares change hands, or 29 percent of Nasdaq volume.

His one exception: shares of National Discount Brokers Group (NDB: news, msgs). He says the stock is way cheap compared with those of its competitors; Marks puts a $100 price target on it for the next 12 months. National Discount Brokers shares Tuesday rose 1 3/8 to 33 7/8 Tuesday afternoon.

Long NDB @$33 15/16

I have additional info on NDB, please PM for details.

nasc - i believe that many dsl companies are starting to get recognized for the coming dsl wave
network access' deal with verio is a good start in this approach, and it has other notable deals with at&t and lockheed martin among others

i prefer a national dsl player though more than regional;
girth first in a new market

dsl picks:
copper mountain network
orckit (NASDAQ:ORCT)
