far and away the vast majority of posts that i see pertaining to the new SI are complaints. many find it irritating, aggravating, hard to look at, hard to use, etc. many resent the switch. few people are rushing forward to say how much they like it. the handful of supporters that beta does have contend that this is because only people who are disgruntled will be vocal. ironically, we get cast in the role of 'complainers' when what we are really doing is supporting the original version. imo, the old adage about people believe what they want to believe is true in the case of the go2net folks. either they are ignoring the numerous protests from classic supporters, or they are misinterpreting the significance of it all. their half-baked promise to maybe keep a version that is similar to classic is suspect. i think that it is a fair and accurate assessment to say that they are tripping all over themselves with this project. eventually they are going to have to look the facts in the face... the new version is being widely rejected. bwdik. :) mark
