Brad:

I believe the business model has more to do with access rights, utility rights-of-way, and leading edge optical technology.

In a deregulated business environment forward reaching utilities require large investments, unfortunately with no guarantee of long term success. Historic examples include such industries as railroads, telegraph, telephone, cable television, and more recently optical telecom. (see Global Crossing)

Whether you believe, as I do, that NOPT has positioned themselves advantageously, with both access and technology, or you don't would seem to be the determinant as to your investment decision.

Oh I forgot some people consider ancestoral lineage as a investment fundamental.

I personally believe the biggest risk in NOPT is dilution as they necessarily modify their current financial structure.

Ultimately their "cost of goods" approaches zero and their price points are driven by their levels of accessibility.

If you read some of the fundamental analysis on this thread, you will see that you are on the right track. Recent revenue history is great even for a tiny company like this, and prospects for more of the same could be great due to the nature of the beast Neon is building.
