I bought on July 29, 1999 when it gapped form .34 to .688 on a 5000 share buy in. It fell back to .47 and I started buying in there. WHat I have found out today. The TA told me as he did 2 weeks ago. There is only 1.6M in street name according to his records. No other cerificates have come through nor has he received a call about the status of any certificate not in street name. Checking for restrictions stops etc. Now this I find interesting because that means the DTC is showing the short position. DTC total is 3,180,800 as of 8-6-99 so it shows a short position of whatever the difference is between the street the TA has and the DTC total. Correct me if I am wrong. PLUS as of today even the TA says the street is still 1.6M ... also the two houses that are showing negative figures are out Canada and 1 out of Mabhatten as of 8-6-99. This means there is a 1.5M short. SOme one correct me if I am worng. GB Now is there a cert the shorts are holding that they have not sent into the TA I do not know.
