Below is a post from the Dell thread; techstocks.com These are some comments about IBM by Gary Helmig at Soundview. Apparently there are rumors about an IBM 3rd qtr shortfall. This am before the market opened Maria from CNBC plugged the rumor even though she did say that Helmig had doubts. Server sales.. ie mainframes.. are supposed to be weak this quarter though according to the rumors and Helmig. Probably the reason for IBM's weakness this morning. Regards, Don
